Jessica Lind Peterson’s Sound Like Trapped Thunder is the second in Seneca Review Books’ Deborah Tall Memorial Lyric Essay series. Jessica is a playwright and author, founder of Yellow Tree Theatre in Osseo, and currently living in Canyon, MN. Sound Like Trapped Thunder is her first book of essays.

Angela Pelster’s new book “City Symphony: A History in Accumulations” is forthcoming with Mad Creek Books in 2022. Her essay collection Limber won the Great Lakes Colleges Association Award for best new book in Nonfiction and was a finalist for the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay. She lives with her family in St Paul, Minnesota and teaches at Hamline University.
