The Rice County Historical Society is calling all Rum Runners, Flappers, Bootleggers, and Moonshiners for our annual June Fundraiser: The Speakeasy! From 7-10pm on June 7th, come out to the Grand in Northfield and support your local history with a night of dancing, drinks, and fun as we step back into the 1920s.

When Prohibition closed bars and made alcohol illegal, illicit bars called Speakeasys popped up all across America and kept the American people flowing in liquor and spirits. Our speakeasy will have swing and jazz music, drinks, a silent auction with incredible prizes, a cash raffle, and more. Come dressed to impress for our 1920s costume contest. Help support local history and have fun doing it!

Tickets are on sale at the RCHS museum or on rchistory.org. Tickets are $50 a person. ID is required to order drinks. Call 507-332-2121 for more details.
