Midtown Global Market will host an entertaining and educational celebration of Juneteenth.

Activities will include a dance performance, music, free kids crafts, a presentation by African American storyteller, Beverly Cottman, and readings by author Crown Shepherd of her books, “Black Boy, Black Boy” and “Black Girl, Black Girl.”

Creative Innovators, a group of young entrepreneurs, will be on-site offering their goods and services. Informational organizations, as well as Black-owned businesses will include: Baked Brand, Blackbird Awakening, New Start Fashion, Take Care and Amani’s Crafts.

This celebration is free and the public is welcome to come and celebrate.
