Light in the Darkness: Songs of Mourning, Remembrance, and Celebration A Fall Concert with Lumina Women’s Ensemble
November 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Saturday, November 5, 7 pm. IN-PERSON, ONLINE via Zoom, and Carondelet Village Television
As the days get shorter and the nights longer, we take time to remember those who are no longer with us, celebrate the warmth of coming home to family and friends, and always search for light in the darkness. Our varied program features music by living and local composers as well as Renaissance and Medieval masterpieces.
This program is sponsored and paid for by Wisdom Ways Center for Spirituality. Donations are greatly appreciated!
Lumina is a professional women’s ensemble dedicated to the mystery, beauty, and hope inherent in music. Our programming draws from a rich well of musical sources, including Medieval chants, Renaissance motets, folk song traditions, and works by living and local composers. Our goal is to share the spiritual experience of music through performance, participation, and education.
