Steve Heitzeg’s GREEN HOPE AFTER BLACK RAIN (Symphony for the Survivors of Manzanar, Hiroshima and Nagasaki) to be premiered by the Saint Paul Civic Symphony, Jeffrey Stirling Music Director, on May 8, 2022

Commissioned by the Civic Symphony in honor of its 75th anniversary season, the work also marks the 75th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

The Mother’s Day program also features Greig’s Piano Concerto performed by Jacob Taggart and Dvořák’s New World Symphony
