No One Stands Alone Choral Concert

May 21 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Do you believe in the power of music and in the potential for young people to change the world? Join us for No One Stands Alone, a showcase of youth choral music that celebrates ComMUSICation’s 10 years of building community through high quality music education in Saint Paul.

This not-to-be-missed event will showcase talented, intelligent youth ages 5-18 from all of ComMUSICation’s current programs, as well as renowned partners MPLS (imPulse) and Minneapolis Youth Chorus, local artist Chadwick “Niles” Phillips, alumni, and more! The program will feature music that reflects our diverse communities, a joint commission by ComMUSICation and the Minnesota Orchestra, and the world premiere of original music created by youth.

ComMUSICation was founded 10 years ago to fill a need in Saint Paul – to make high quality music programs accessible to young people. Our vision is that youth use their voices to lead and make change, inspiring and inspired by their community. Join us on May 21st to see that change in action, and to celebrate the power, beauty, and joy of youth music in our community!

This performance is made possible in part by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the City of Saint Paul Cultural Sales Tax Revitalization Program, and by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
