Object Stories: Minneapolis

The American Craft Council presents Object Stories: Minneapolis, a live event at Twin Ignition in NE Minneapolis on Monday, October 27 at 6 p.m. CT. Celebrated glass artists Einar and Jamex de la Torre (2024 ACC Award Fellows) will join other artists and community luminaires to showcase a handmade object and share a personal story of why the object holds meaning to them.

ACC is proud to partner with the Cafesjian Art Trust Museum and Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts to bring Einar and Jamex de la Torre to Object Stories, in conjunction with the opening of their exhibition Collidoscope: de la Torre Brothers Retro-Perspective and their public glassblowing demonstration at Foci MCGA.

Object Stories is a live storytelling event presented by the American Craft Council, a national nonprofit with a mission to build a world where objects matter, makers thrive, and craft connects. Each Object Stories event brings together a group of artists, writers, and members of the art community to showcase handmade objects and the personal connections they evoke.

Tickets are $12 for ACC members, $15 general admission.
