Olio Vintage Celebrates Art-A-Whirl with Local Artists and Makers

Northeast vintage store, Olio Vintage, is proud to be a featured Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA) gallery for this year’s Art-A-Whirl event. To kick off the festivities, Olio invites the community to a special happy hour on Friday, May 16, from 4–6 PM. Attendees can enjoy bubbly, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks while exploring works from a curated selection of local artists and makers. Artwork will be on view and available for sale for the duration of Art-A-Whirl during regular store hours (11am–6pm Friday–Sunday) continuing through the month of May. Join Olio Vintage in celebrating the vibrant arts community of Minneapolis. 

Featured Artists: 

* Gabriela Garay-Marvin (@glevbaumel): Specializes in intricate pen and ink illustrations that delve into themes of identity and nature.
* Jennifer Bong (@jfleurfoto): Creates traditional black and white photographs, offering hand-colored Silver Gelatin Prints and expressive portraiture.
* 1st.ascent (@1st.ascent): Focuses on photography prints that capture the essence of natural landscapes and urban environments.
