March 12 @ 8:00 am - June 20 @ 5:00 pm

In partnership with the African American Interpretive Center of Minnesota (AAICM), Minnesota Museum of American Art presents “Outer Experiences: Black Life in Rural and Suburban Minnesota.” This exhibition explores the experience of being Black outside of the Twin Cities and is based on AAICM’s eponymous digital collection featuring interviews that amplify the voices of Black Minnesotans and the history that connects them to their home.
This is an outdoor exhibition in the M’s window galleries on Robert and 4th streets.
