Originally from Cork, Patsy’s early musical influences ranged from rock legends like Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page to the traditional Irish sounds he grew up with. It wasn’t until he found himself immersed in the Dublin music scene that he truly began to appreciate the complexity and beauty of traditional Irish music. Since then, Patsy’s guitar skills and distinctive sound have led him to perform and collaborate with some of the most respected names in Celtic and world music, including Eileen Ivers, Paddy Keenan, Cathie Ryan, and Teada.
