Plant Native Plants at Excelsior Commons Park
September 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Join Great River Greening for a Saturday morning restoration event at Excelsior Commons park! Together we will be planting pollinator-friendly grasses and flowers. Tasks will include turning over sheet mulch to prep for planting, placing of plants and watering and mulching. This work will continue to restore an area that was once overrun with invasive buckthorn and provide erosion control to the shoreline.
This is a family-friendly event. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary, we will provide the tools and training required.
Once you have registered via GivePulse, organizers from Great River Greening will approve your registration and you will receive confirmation.
