Restored Prairie Hike

Take a hike around the restored prairie and see what Forestville looked like before it was incorporated. Learn about the importance of native prairie ecosystems in historic and modern context; includes identification of in-season plant prairie species.
Tours will be led by Sue Wiegrefe, a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding & Plant Genetics/Botany, with a Master’s of Science in Ornamental Horticulture. Sue was an Assistant Professor of Horticulture at University of Wisconsin – River Falls.
