Max’s at The Shops at Excelsior & Grand will host a Sevan Bicakci pop-up fine jewelry trunk show October 20-25 from 10:00am-6:00pm. A representative from the brand will visit the shop to present the collections to shoppers on October 24-25. Sevan Bicakci crafts his intricately detailed pieces in his Istanbul workshop, near the Grand Bazaar. His designs blend Eastern and Western influences, with precious metals and gemstones paired with micro-mosaics, miniature paintings, and calligraphy, with many pieces featuring reverse intaglio. His greatest sources of inspiration are the magnificent, rich history and culture of Anatolia, Byzantium, and the Ottoman Empire.
