ComMUSICation is hosting a free summer SOAR (Sing Out and Represent) music camp for youth entering grades 9-12. The camp will take place August 11-15 on Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm at 825 Arts at 825 University Avenue West in Saint Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood and will culminate with a performance at the Frogtown Arts Festival. The SOAR camp will be led by Carey Shunskis, music and program director at ComMUSICation, and will focus on self-expression, building community, and performing powerful, youth-selected music. Free transportation is available to the camp.
