A listening gathering at Creation Audio, to celebrate the release of Stay With, a new album from Ben Weaver.

Stay With is a collection of sonic poems recorded over a four year time span beginning early in the pandemic of 2020. Ben spent many hours riding around on his bike recording sounds from the seasonal landscape of Saint Paul, where he lives. Engineer Tom Herbers and Ben then manipulated these sounds into their own instruments, birds, water, trains, creaking trees, conversations, these sounds are the layers at the base of Stay With.

“I’ve always been envious of people who write books because when someone reads a book, that is all they do. They just read it. I wanted to make an album that might be experienced in that same way, where like reading a book, you don’t do anything else. You just listen.” – Ben

In keeping with this vision, we hope you will join together at this historically significant recording studio, Creation Audio, to “just listen,” and gather at the time of year when we are meant to be together and share stories. We will listen to the album, share in conversation, and celebrate a few other special guests.

Tickets for this event are pay what you can, with a suggested range of $15-$100.
