Over the course of the last century-plus the Minnesota Orchestra has consistently established itself as among the strongest in the country. Re-emerging from a period of labor dispute, the Grammy Award-winning orchestra returns behind Vänskä to its newly renovated modernist classic Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis to chart a new course of playing the classical repertoire and the occasional night of film music and other populist offerings.
