Schultz, David

Dr. Schultz is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nura Pain Clinics (formerly MAPS Medical Pain Clinics). He has been a full-time interventional pain doctor since 1995 and is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Schultz has spent a lot of his career involved with various local and national groups including being a current Director at Large for the Minnesota Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (the MN chapter of ASIPP) and a former board member and past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP). In June of 2021, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement award by ASIPP for his years of expertise. He has also spent lots of time helping educate future physicians in the pain medicine field including being an adjunct professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota and teaching many interventional pain courses as an instructor for ASIPP, Spinal Intervention Society (SIS), Medtronic, and Abbott.

Dr. Schultz is also the founder of Nura Research Institute; a clinical research center conducting phase I-IV clinical studies across a variety of therapeutic areas. He is a prolific author of medical articles and book chapters, a frequent speaker at national meetings, and is a principal investigator in pain research.

For the past 30 years, Nura has been helping patients with chronic pain.
