Ghassemi, Sogand

Dr. Ghassemi is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Trained at the Mayo Clinic, she brings more than 13 years of experience to her role as the Director of Perinatal Program Services at PrairieCare. Dr. Ghassemi specializes in treating mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and early motherhood. A recognized leader and advocate, she has spearheaded statewide legislative efforts to improve maternal mental health, presents regularly at national conferences, and is frequently featured in the media as an expert in the field.
