Dr. Michael Johnson brings over 20 years of optometric expertise to OVO LASIK + LENS, specializing in pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract patients. A graduate of Hamline University and the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Johnson has practiced across corporate, private, and specialty clinics, gaining a wide-ranging perspective on eye care. He began his refractive surgery career alongside Dr. David Whiting in 2017, where he found his passion for helping patients navigate the LASIK and cataract journey. Today, he works closely with OVO’s surgeons to ensure every patient receives thorough, compassionate care at every step of their vision correction experience. Known for his approachable style and dedication to patient education, Dr. Johnson helps patients feel comfortable and confident as they pursue life-changing results. Outside the clinic, he enjoys fishing, pickleball, and family time with his wife and three energetic sons in Plymouth.
