Best New Restaurants 2014

It was a wild and abundant year of dining in the Twin Cities, between the debut of house-brewed kombucha cocktails, a full foie-gras menu, and fried pig ears (the first time we actually liked them). Some meals reminded us of Grandma’s house, others resembled science experiments, and after the liquid-nitrogen smoke cleared, the best of 2014 remained: our compilation of the most innovative new restaurants, dishes, beverages—and the people who created them.
