Minnesota Monthly’s largest event of the year is right around the corner—the weekend-long wine tasting extravaganza that is the Food & Wine Experience. Kicking off the weekend in style is the Grand Vine Tasting at Target Field on March 6 from 6:30-9 p.m. This exclusive event gives guests the opportunity to sample high-end wines from vineyards around the globe (all bottles retail at $20 or more) in an intimate atmosphere.
Great for a unique date night or connecting with other wine aficionados, Grand Vine also features live music courtesy of the Jeff Perry Group and a menu of gourmet bites, from cheese and tapas to braised short ribs and mussels. Attendees will receive a keepsake Riedel wine glass, fit for tasting the variety of red, white, or blush wines throughout the Food & Wine weekend and for sipping that guilty pleasure grocery store variety at home after a long day’s work.
Grand Vine is the perfect primer to Food & Wine’s grand event on March 7&8 at Target Field from 1-5 p.m. each day. Guests will get the chance to sample some of the premier wines that will be featured throughout the rest of the weekend—so once you choose your favorites at Grand Vine, you can try an even wider selection from those brands during the main event. The highly anticipated 26th annual Food & Wine Experience offers even more to love with an abundance of wine, beer, and spirits, as well as plentiful food and retail vendors from local restaurants and shops.
Purchase tickets for the Grand Vine Tasting before they sell out and gear up for the Twin Cities’ best wine sampling event of the year!
