Minneapolis’ Theater in the Round is marking 100 years since literary mastermind Agatha Christie’s first novel, with two halves of diverse revue posted on YouTube. They include skits, music, recipes, and more. Check out the first part, and tune into the second this Saturday.

A 2020 Miracle at Lawless

Around this time of year, Minneapolitans are used to Lawless Distilling Company refurbishing its Seward warehouse into a smart and sweet winter wonderland for adults, serving humorous, show-stopping, gotta-try-’em-all cocktails. This year, they’re distributing kits. Head to the south Minneapolis location, wear a mask, and pick up an all-inclusive chemistry set for the distillery’s Jingle Bells Nog, Dino-Mite (fernet), It’s Time to Celebrate Hanukkah (gin), and other potable crafts. They just added some New Year’s twists, as well, open in limited capacity the two weeks leading up to 2021. Each kit comes with glassware, a mix, and, of course, the booze. Shop here.

Choo Choo for Charity

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has long rolled through Union Depot, toting musicians, lucky passengers, and general cheer. This year, the train is donating to food banks along its usual route, and it’s also hosting a virtual concert, featuring Serena Ryder, the Trews, JoJo Mason, Logan Staats, and Kelly Prescott.
