That’s what I thought. The buttercream geniuses at Sweets Bakeshop in St. Paul have been turning out such lovely cakes and delicate, melt-in-your-mouth French macaroons for the past year. If you haven’t made it to the darling St. Paul bakery yet, mark your calendar for November 14 when owners Ly Lo and Krista Steinbach are giving away FREE mystery cupcakes in honor of Sweets’ one-year anniversary. I don’t know what the flavor will be, but you can bet it will taste better than the Halloween candy you’ve been grazing on for weeks.
