Chef Gavin Kaysen is adding even more high-end dining experiences in Minneapolis. Just a few blocks away from Demi, Spoon + Stable, and Bellecour Bakery at Cooks of Crocus Hill, the chef and Soigné Hospitality Group founder will help create a new restaurant and cafe at United Properties’ RBC Gateway Project.

Still under construction at Hennepin and Washington Avenues, the 37-story RBC will be home to the Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis, as well as office, retail, and residential space. According to a press release, the full-service restaurant, bar, and cafe will open in the spring of 2022. According to Star Tribune, the restaurant and bar will occupy 8,000 square feet, and overlook Nicollet.

Kaysen is behind all concepts for the projects that he says will bring the North Loop and Downtown together. No additional information about the restaurants has been disclosed at this time. Another restaurant and bar, managed by the Four Seasons, will also be part of the project.

“We’re building this with a lot of intention and thought for what the future of hospitality looks like,” says Kaysen in the release. “In this space, we’ll have guests from the hotel, the neighborhood, and Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Minneapolis. I’m looking forward to being part of a project that helps all of them create memories.”
