You’d be forgiven for thinking Mesa’s mac and cheese pizza was created by a drunk college kid. No, it was designed for drunk college kids. Mesa has fed the University of Minnesota campus in Dinkytown since 2006. One of 50 varieties, the mac and cheese is a Mesa-made combo of cheddar, mozzarella, and a crème fraiche. Maybe it’s being in line at 2 a.m. with friends, or maybe it’s the New York-style crust and bright-red sauce, but either way, there’s a time in life when this slice is all you want.
