When “October” and “drinking” are used together in the same sentence, it’s almost always in reference to Oktoberfest. The traditional German funfair is infamously known for it’s massive beer collection. But this year, Solo Vino, an independent wine shop in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul, is changing the game.
For the first time ever, Solo Vino will be holding their First Annual Austrian-German Wine Tasting on Sunday, October 19. Now, winos too, can share in the fun! At the tasting, both novice and experienced wine drinkers will be able to sample over 100 wines produced throughout Austria and Germany.
The Austrian-German Wine Tasting will be held at the St. Paul Athletic Club from 2 – 5 p.m. Guests can purchase their tickets online.
