It’s rosé season, and I’ve always really enjoyed the explosion of interest in pink wines. (No, these are not White Zin tastings!) Rosé is dry, it’s fruity, it’s delicate, it’s bold—it’s very different depending on the grape and the region and the winemaker creating it.
This Saturday marks the beginning of tasting events, and if you’ve never tasted a true variety of rosés, it’s a huge eye-opener. The German wines differ from the wines from France and Spain, which are different from the American winemakers doing rosés of Pinot Noir or Zinfandel.
