Seasonal Sipping: Drink Recipes

Harvest Mule, a seasonal cocktail courtesy of SVEDKA

There are many drink recipes dripping with fake blood or adorned with floating “eyeballs” and other accoutrements for Halloween. But if you want something that still lends autumnal flavor without the gimmicks, try whipping up these cocktails for parties or anytime throughout the season.

The Nutty Aunt includes fruity cherry, apple and orange flavors with a hint of nuts from amaretto—and if you want a little “scare,” I think the floating star anise garnish might look a bit like spiders. The Harvest Mule (pictured right) teams orange and ginger with pumpkin spice for a twist on the classics, and the Gimme Some More layers flavors of the favorite campfire treat into a grown-up dessert drink.

These recipes, courtesy of SVEDKA Vodka, include ratios of ingredients so you can either mix up a single serving or adjust to serve a number of guests. And if you are looking for more Halloween-centric creations, they can help you out with those recipes too. But when it’s time to relax, kick back with a mule. Cheers!
