Slow Fire by Dr. BBQ

“Let’s kick the tires and light the fires, big daddy!”

Ok, that’s an Independence Day quote, and it’s certainly not Fourth of July. But it is the start of grilling season—which means freedom from (albeit mild) winter and indoor entertaining.

Our inaugural event next weekend, GrillFest, is designed to kick this great season off, and experts like Ray “Dr. BBQ” Lampe will be on site to help you find your way to the tools and tips you need to create luscious grilled eats.

Slow Fire cookbookToday we’re giving away a copy of Slow Fire: The Beginner’s Guide to Barbecue by Dr. BBQ himself. A quick flip through the cookbook will make your mouth water and send you running for a new gas tank or bag of charcoal: Smoked Maple-Brined Pork Chops, Barbecue Championship Ribs, Smoked Salmon with Honey-Orange Glaze, and even sauces and sides like Bacon and Blue Cheese Coleslaw.

Ray will be leading cooking demos at GrillFest both Saturday and Sunday using recipes from this very book—and certainly, will be happy to sign this cookbook if you win.

To enter, tell us what food you’ve been waiting to grill—and devour! Entries will be accepted until Tuesday, May 15 at 9 a.m. Winner will be notified through email.

P.S. We have a special discount for our MNMO.com followers: Get GrillFest tickets for $5 off using the code GF2012 when ordering online.
