Whether you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 or the days ahead, there are many tasty cocktails to choose from—including the top five, according to the network of bartenders with Cocktail.com. Plus, there are many spirited occasions that warrant raising a glass in the coming weeks, including National Cocktail Day on March 24, International Whiskey Day on March 27 followed by Easter in April and spring brunches and picnics to come.

Top St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails

The top five St. Patrick’s Day cocktails are a surprising lineup this year, according to Cocktail.com’s worldwide network of bartenders. This Irish holiday’s flavors may be moving in a new direction with a new up-and-coming cocktail taking a place on this year’s list. You can check them out with links below:

1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila
1 oz. fresh lime juice
0.75 oz. simple syrup
8-10 cilantro leaves
3 cucumber slices
Club soda, to top

Combine all ingredients, except club soda into tin shaker. Muddle fruit/herbs. Add ice, shake vigorously, and fine strain into a collins glass. Add fresh ice, top off with club soda, and garnish with cucumber slice with edible gold dusted cilantro leaf through center.

Sparkling Raspberry Rosé

Sparkling Raspberry Rosé

1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila
1 oz. fresh lime juice
0.75 oz. simple syrup
4 raspberries
2 dashes Peychauds Bitters
Sparkling Brut Rosé, to top
2-3 Edible Flowers (assorted colors), for garnish

Combine all ingredients except brut rosé into tin shaker. Muddle raspberries. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into coupe glass. Top off with sparkling brut rosé and garnish.

Casa Ginger Mint Paloma

Casa Ginger Mint Paloma

1.5 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila
1 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
0.5 oz. Ginger Syrup by Liquid Alchemist
8–10 Mint Leaves
2 Dashes Orange Bitters

Combine all ingredients into tin shaker. Muddle mint, add ice, shake vigorously, then fine strain into collins glass. Add fresh ice and garnish with grapefruit wheel and mint sprig.

Redemption Rye Whiskey

To add a little fun to your cocktail repertoire

1.5 parts Redemption Rye
1.5 parts grapefruit
0.25 parts lemon juice
0.75 Aperol
Thyme sprig, for garnish

Shake all ingredients with ice and a few sprigs of thyme. Strain over rocks in an old fashioned glass. Top with tonic and garnish with thyme sprig.

Redemption Rye Whiskey

To honor the classics

2 parts Rye Whiskey
0.75 parts Sweet Vermouth
3 dashes aromatic bitters
Absinthe rinsed glass
Lemon peel, for garnish

Rinse a Nic and Nora glass with absinthe. Pour excess into stirring glass. Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain neat into the prepared glass and garnish with expressed lemon peel.

Bib & Tucker Bourbon

For a twist on a whiskey sour

2 oz. Bib & Tucker 6-Year-Old Small Batch Bourbon
0.75 oz. sour cherries syrup
0.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
Dash Angostura bitters
Lemon wedge, for garnish

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Serve in a double rocks glass over ice.

Strega Spring Apple

Strega Spring Apple

Strega, a liqueur from Campania, Italy, includes approximately 70 herbal ingredients such as mint and fennel and is slightly sweet with a bold, complex flavor with strong minty or coniferous notes.

20 ml Strega Liqueur
45 ml vodka
20 ml raspberry syrup
30 ml lime juice
45 ml apple juice
Apple slices and raspberries, for garnish

Add all ingredients to shaker and shake well. Pour into a tumbler with ice cubes. Garnish with slices of red apple and fresh raspberries.

Strega Swizzle

45 ml Strega liqueur
30 ml Agricultural rum
30 ml lime juice
20 ml sugar syrup
15 ml white vermouth
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Lime slices and mint sprig, for garnish

Add the lime, sugar syrup, vermouth and rum to a glass. Add crushed ice to glass and mix with a bar spoon. Pour in Strega Liqueur. Add 3 dashes of Angostura and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and lime slices.

1800 Earl Grey

1800 Earl Grey

2 oz. 1800 Cristalino
¼ oz. elderflower liqueur
½ oz. Earl Grey syrup
¾ oz. lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with an edible flower.

1800 Añejo Sunset

1800 Añejo Sunset

2 oz. 1800 Añejo
¾ oz. demerara syrup
¾ oz. carrot juice
½ oz. lime juice
3 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a lime wheel and a salted pepper rim.

2 oz. 1800 Reposado
¾ oz. honey syrup
¾ oz. lemon juice
Iced peach black tea, to top

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a lemon wheel.
