The self-proclaimed capital hosts an annual Halloween parade large enough justify its status, but if filling up on fun-sized candy bars isn’t your thing, Rachel and John recommend Hans bakery for their Bee-Hive, a custard filled pastry sandwich, or the newer Swedish Crown Bakery, featuring cardamom-flavored sweets. For a less sugary fare, opt for high tea at the Mad Hatter, a historic mansion and one of the few places around to get traditional tea with mini pastries and finger sandwiches.
