The Market at Malcolm Yards is about to get a lot more exciting later this month with the addition of World Street Kitchen, offering a culinary journey through vibrant, global flavors. Known for its diverse menu that spans from Asia to the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, World Street Kitchen is set to open by the end of the month, bringing bold, innovative dishes to the heart of Minneapolis.

Taking over the former Mr. Paul’s Po’ Boys and Jams space, World Street Kitchen will offer an enticing array of dishes that highlight the best of global street food. On the menu, guests will find signature favorites like the Yum Yum Rice Bowls—steamed rice, a soft-cooked egg, peanuts, crunchy toppings, and a secret sauce—along with Bangkok Burritos, which come filled with your choice of Korean BBQ beef short ribs, red curry chicken, or crispy marinated tofu. For those looking to snack or share, hummus bowls, appetizers, and other delicious bites will also be available.
Sameh Wadi, Chef and Founder of World Street Kitchen said in a press release, “World Street Kitchen is cooking without borders. We source diverse ingredients worldwide to create unique and bold flavors. We can’t wait to showcase our favorite dishes and celebrate global cuisine.”
Founded by brothers Sameh and Saed Wadi in 2012, World Street Kitchen started as a beloved food truck and has since expanded into a year-round neighborhood restaurant in Minneapolis. The new kitchen at The Market at Malcolm Yards marks the brand’s second location, bringing their signature global street food to even more hungry locals.

“We are excited to enhance our offerings and provide a diverse culinary experience for our guests,” said Patricia Wall, Owner of The Market at Malcolm Yards. “World Street Kitchen brings a new global and flavorful cuisine to The Market.”
Food halls have become a growing trend in the Twin Cities, with new spaces offering diverse dining options and bringing together local chefs and culinary concepts under one roof. Earlier this year, The Market at Malcolm Yards already expanded its culinary offerings with the arrival EGGFLIP/SUSHIFLIP, which offers a unique blend of Korean-inspired egg dishes and sushi. Graze Food Hall by Travail in North Loop has already unveiled three exciting new concepts: Umami by Travail, Tixtli by Nixta, and Caja Fried Chicken by the chefs of Alma and Brasa, adding even more local culinary talent to the space. Furthermore, El Sazón Tacos & More, the popular Mexican eatery that began in an Eagan gas station, is expanding to Eat Street Crossing in Minneapolis in mid-March, and is planning to offer its signature a la carte menu and catering services.
