Calling all awful cooks: If the microwave is your best friend; if you can’t help but call your mother while making any meal; if your friends avoid your dinner invites—this one’s for you.
The Food Network is currently casting its third batch of reality TV stars for Worst Cooks in America—a show where, with the help of culinary mentors, the network hopes to turn “kitchen zeros into kitchen heroes.”
The application process is pretty easy, and the potential reward great—who doesn’t want to improve his or her culinary skills while moving from total obscurity to national fame? OK, maybe not everyone. But if you do—or know someone who might—here’s how it works:
Email worstcooks@theconlincompany.com and tell them why you (or the person you are nominating) are the most disastrous cook in the country. Make sure to include the name, age, hometown, occupation, phone number, and a recent photo of the hopeless cook.
Additional information, including a download-able application, is available at theconlincompany.com.
But don’t wait too long. They’ve been scouting Minneapolis all summer, so make sure and get your story in quick if interested.
