Summer Camp for Adults

The Bakken Museum puts a twist on its popular summer campus with this 21-plus event. Adults are invited to try camp-themed challenges, listen to live music, try drinks from local distilleries, and tour the museum grounds after hours.

Prince’s Legacy

What: Prince Celebration
When: June 5-8
Where: Paisley Park and Downtown Minneapolis (various locations)

The annual Prince Celebration honors Prince’s legacy with four days of concerts, guided tours of Paisley Park, and a block party at the Prince Mural downtown. Attendees will hear unreleased audio from Prince and listen to performances from Morris Day and Time and The Family.

The state’s longest running art fair returns to 50th and France this weekend. The Edina Art Fair features over 250 artists and vendors, ranging from local breweries and restaurants to jewelers, painters, and vintage shops.

Breakaway Music Festival brings the beat to the Twin Cities this weekend. The festival features performances from big-name DJs like Tiesto and John Summit, as well as house and EDM sets from more than 20 artists.

Mini Music Festival

What: Rock the Cradle
When: June 8, 10 a.m.
Where: 2400 Third Ave. S., Minneapolis

The Current invites kids and their adults to its annual “Rock the Cradle Event.” Held at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) and Children’s Theater Co. campus, the event includes disco performances, yoga, and art classes at Mia studios.
