Nov. 1, 2024, marks the return of Nordic Village to the Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis, inviting guests to experience a unique Minnesota cabin dining experience in the heart of the city. This season features a new cozy cocktail lounge, The Lodge, along with evolving Nordic-inspired menus and optional wine pairings. In celebration of the season, the hotel will host a Launch Party and Open House on Nov. 2, featuring tours of Nordic Village and local vendor shopping, open to the public.

“Nordic Village is all about making you feel at home, no matter the winter weather,” says General Manager Florian Riedel. Guests can enjoy an inviting atmosphere while sharing great food and connections. “Even though we expanded last season, The Lodge takes Nordic Village to another level. Last year, we would often hear comments like, ‘I want to bring my whole family here. I’d love for our work event to be held here. This would be a great place to host a party.’ The Lodge was created because of this feedback. Our guests asked, and we listened.”

Four Seasons Hotel Executive Chef Martín Morelli adds, “Nordic Village is an experience that brings people together. It’s all about sharing great food and coming together around the table. Many of our guests have a pretty good idea of what a Minnesota cabin experience is like, but if you don’t, we want you to know this isn’t a formal place; it’s meant to be familiar. So, come as you are and enjoy.”

Designed and decorated by MartinPatrick3, Nordic Village includes five cabins seating up to four guests, three cabins seating up to eight guests and The Lodge with seating for up to 24 guests. The larger cabins and The Lodge are outfitted with TVs, so diners can keep up with the game or enjoy dinner and a movie. All cabins are insulated and heated. For extra warmth or to relive fond memories at a later date, diners will have the opportunity to purchase Nordic Village apparel and accessories from hotel collaborators such as Faribault Mill.

Open Wednesdays through Sundays until March 30, 2025, Nordic Village will offer a four-course menu filled with seasonal delights like cheese fondue and Minnesota-shaped s’mores, starting at $175 per person. The experience also accommodates dietary restrictions and offers complimentary options for young diners.

As part of the hotel’s five-month celebration of winter, Nordic Village welcomes back market curator Mich Berthiaume and local artists, makers, and creators. A variety of goods and gifts will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 2 through Dec. 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Access to these markets, as well as valet parking, is complimentary and open to the public.
