Minnesota Monthly is inviting two readers to join editor Amy Nelson, managing editor Erik Tormoen, and food editor Jason DeRusha to sample and rate some of the new foods at the Minnesota State Fair on opening day, Aug. 24. To be eligible, sign up for Minnesota Monthly‘s e-newsletter, The Daily by July 28. All new and current subscribers will qualify for the random selection, and winners will be notified by Aug. 4.
Winners will receive one daily admission ticket to the fair for Aug. 24, with food and drink samples purchased by the editors. Transportation, parking, and other purchases while attending the fair are not included. Winners must be willing to move about the fairgrounds and sample foods, meet the editors on their schedule for approximately four hours, and have their images included in social media posts and other promotional materials.
For an alternate way to qualify, entrants can also send a postcard with name, home address, phone number, and other contact information postmarked by July 28 to Minnesota Monthly State Fair Contest, Greenspring Media, 9401 James Ave. S., Suite 152, Bloomington, MN 55431.
