From Girl Scouts to Women of Distinction

The Girl Scouts’ signature fundraising event of the year celebrates women who lead ethically and professionally. Honoring select Women of Distinction, the gathering raises support for Girl Scouts programming, to ensure that girls in our local communities have the opportunities they need to practice a lifetime of leadership. A Toast to Children’s Health

What: WineFest No. 24: A Toast to Children’s Health
Where: Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot
When: Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11
This wine-sampling benefit supports children’s health, research, education, and care at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. There’s a Friday Wine Symposium (sponsored by Minnesota Monthly) from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and a grand tasting from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Jennifer Mayerle and Cory Hepola host the silent auction, and there’s also grape stomping.
