Railway Remembrance

Gear up for a weekend of historical remembrance and lively celebration at the 50th annual James J. Hill Days in downtown Wayzata. Honoring the legacy of James J. Hill, the historic Minnesotan businessman who once owned the Great Northern Railroad Company, this annual festival is jam-packed with exciting community events, including live music, food trucks, beer gardens, an open-air street market, carnival, parade, firework show, and more!

EVOLVE Runway Returns

What: EVOLVE Velvet Underground Fall Fashion Show

The annual EVOLVE runway show presented by local boutique The Fitting Room returns, featuring capsule fall collections by both emerging and established local designers. Stick around after the runway for access to a pop-up shop where featured designers will be selling their latest collections.

Vintage Vendors Unite

What: Northeast Vintage Block Party

Where: Back lot of 5th St. NE Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis

Shop vintage treasures at the inaugural Northeast Vintage Block Party, which will unite dozens of vintage sellers and retailers for an open-air shopping experience. Hosted by Moth Oddities, Olio Vintage, Twelve Vultures, and The Golden Pearl Vintage, the shops that make up the corner informally known as the “Northeast Vintage Block” this first-of-its-kind event is a celebration of vintage fashion and the small business community.
