Patients are treated as guests in a comfortable, spa-like environment.
Patients are treated as guests at Hanson Dental, a Buffalo-based office offering complete family, cosmetic, and neuromuscular dentistry in a comfortable, spa-like environment.
“We’re not just a ‘drill and fill’ office,” says Dr. Thomas Hanson, selected as a “topDentist” by his peers.
“We treat everyone as if we were treating our brother or sister.”
A graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Dr. Hanson—selected as a “topDentist” by his peers—has the training to provide complete smile rehabilitations. Dentists from all over the world travel to LVI to further their educational training and to master the most current dental procedures and technologies. Dentists are provided with expert instruction and intensive, hands-on clinical training.
One of Dr. Hanson’s specialties is neuromuscular dentistry, an option for patients with chronic pain and headaches.
“We use sophisticated computer equipment to find the patient’s comfortable ‘bite,’ so the muscles are relaxed and the teeth can function optimally,” Dr. Hanson explains.
The outcome can be life-changing therapy.
“Most people don’t realize that headaches and migraines are directly related to everyday jaw movements and the way your teeth fit together,” he comments. Correcting the overall problem rather than a set of symptoms is at the heart of temporomandibular joints (TMJ) treatment. A personalized treatment plan can reduce—or completely eliminate—the problem.
Other services include smile makeovers, teeth whitening, and family dental care including periodontal exams, digital x-rays (utilizing 90 percent less radiation than traditional x-rays), and TV and DVD capabilities in the ceiling, allowing patients to watch movies during dental procedures. There is even a room dedicated to young children to eliminate the fear often associated with going to a medical office.
