On Aug. 6, New Jersey-based luxury bedding company Boll & Branch opened its first Minnesota location at Galleria Edina, inviting shoppers and longtime lovers of the brand to come experience its buttery soft, 100% organic cotton bedding. Known for its focus on ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility, the brand has become a reputable force in the realm of luxury design, eventually leading to partnerships with top-name fashion designers at events including the Met Gala and New York Fashion Week.

“Sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s a value we share with retailers and guests,” says Rachel Oelke, Marketing Director at Galleria. “Boll & Branch’s transparent supply chain, fair trade practices, and organic materials make them a standout addition [to Galleria].”

Boll & Branch’s bedding selections feature seven different fabrics; each made from 100% organic materials and designed to accommodate a luxurious and deep night’s sleep. A signature element of its brand identity, Boll & Branch’s in-store experience encourages customers to touch, see, and interact with these fabrics, and collaborate with complimentary design consultants to determine which might be the best fit for their home. Those who are hot sleepers may be guided toward the crisp percale fabric, while those who are cool sleepers will gravitate toward the velvety flannel fabric.

“We already know we have an existing customer base in Edina, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer them an in-person touchpoint for the brand, where they can see and feel our bedding, as well as take part in unique experiences such as our Complimentary Design Consultations, and one-on-one styling sessions,” says Katia Unlu, Chief Commercial Officer at Boll & Branch.

Apart from the functionality and sustainability of Boll & Branch’s fabrics, they have been proven to hold their own among the luxury heavyweights of high-fashion runways. The soft summit supima fabric, made from 100% organic supima (a rare species of American-grown cotton), formed the basis of American fashion designer Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection at New York Fashion Week, as well as the custom gown he created for tennis star Maria Sharapova at the 2025 Met Gala.

For Oelke, this crossover between the realms of luxury home goods and luxury fashion felt like a natural complement to Galleria’s reputation as a “trend-forward destination.”

“At the Galleria, we live, breathe, and celebrate fashion. Boll & Branch’s crossover into the fashion world is so much fun and adds an extra layer—their high-fashion influence aligns beautifully with the sophistication and innovation our guests expect,” says Oelke.
