Your Voice – a Community Sing-along, led by Matthias Maute
Singers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in this exciting and fun musical event led by Bach Society’s artistic director Matthias Maute! The first night is focused on learning and rehearsing the passages of Mozart’s Requiem and Ave Verum. Participation is free but pre-registration is required. Then on March 9, participants will join the Bach Society musicians on stage at the Ordway Concert Hall to perform Ave Verum.

Find out more »Anna Magdalena Bach and Her Notebooks: A Lecture and Demonstration Recital
Bach's birthday celebration continues with a lecture and recital focused on the Anna Magdalena Notebooks, given to her 300 years ago by her husband, J.S. Bach. The musical notebooks continue to inspire children today. The lecture includes a presentation about the story behind the books and the musical Bach family. Bach had 20 children, many of whom were musicians! The recital will feature excerpts from the books and other musical pieces.
