Christian Heritage Academy (CHA) teaches its community that education builds knowledge and that mentoring builds character. CHA puts faith central in all learning for their 172 students, from kindergarten to eighth grade. Each student is supported to become a responsive disciple of Jesus Christ. The school’s unique mission is to build its entire student body into leaders from the heart of Jesus while serving the community locally and globally through 17 different fundraising and charity organizations. CHA has developed a literacy program using Sonday, an Orton Gillingham curriculum to meet the needs of students struggling with literacy and dyslexia. The school has also implemented the Top 20 School program, which nurtures students’ social-emotional thinking and brings out the best in them, as well as their families, teachers and communities.
