It’s hard to imagine that a fundraising event can continue to grow over the decades, after already raising more than $1 million over the years. Saturday, March 11 marks the 25th anniversary of the Bedrace for Bridging annual event, where teams of four compete and they race down the tubing area at Buck Hill on queen-size mattresses. This compelling event has attracted racers from near and far, with several teams now in their second generation of participation.

Team costumes have been hilarious and so creative. Prizes are awarded to the teams with the best race times, best costumes, and the team that raises the most money for Bridging.
Bridging fills homes with hope, providing quality furniture and essential household goods for more than 4,500 households annually while keeping more than 10 million pounds of reusable goods out of landfills. Volunteers keep Bridging running, supporting the clients and organization with more than 65,000 hours of support each year.

It’s not too late to join the fun! Sign up your team, raise funds, and we’ll see you at the party on the hill!
