Kick off fall from Oct. 2-5 with a jam-packed weekend of film, events, and workshops at the Sheboygan Film Festival. Festival passes available for film lovers of all ages.
The inaugural Sheboygan Film Festival will be a great opportunity for film lovers and families from across the region to escape for a weekend getaway. The festival kicks off with the opening night film and party on Oct. 2 at the iconic Stefanie H. Weill Center in downtown Sheboygan, WI. Opening night will feature the new documentary “John Candy: I Like Me.” The documentary shares candid stories and memories from Candy’s family, closest friends, and longtime collaborators, covering his on-and-off camera life.
The weekend continues with film screenings and events at venues throughout the Sheboygan downtown, including the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. The film program brings short films and features from around the world to Sheboygan. There will also be workshop opportunities for festivalgoers, such as miniature building, stop motion, and screenwriting. Special events include a “Sips and Cinema” four-course wine dinner paired with short films, as well as socials each night.
Sheboygan Film Festival includes a robust children’s program with screenings and activities for children of all ages. Children’s programming will take place all day Friday and Saturday at Above & Beyond Children’s Museum, Mead Public Library, and Mini Mocha Café.
