Lanesboro Arts
Experience the charm and authenticity of the arts and outdoors in scenic Lanesboro, Minnesota. Since its founding in 1868, the natural beauty of Bluff Country has drawn visitors to Lanesboro to find inspiration and rejuvenation. Lanesboro Arts activates the people and places of Lanesboro with year-round activities and attractions that include a professional exhibition & sales gallery, an intimate 126-seat theatre, an annual Art in the Park festival, and the nationally recognized Lanesboro Arts Campus place-making initiative.
Housed in an historically-restored 1879 brick building with grand 10-foot doors, Lanesboro Arts Gallery includes a sales gallery featuring artwork by more than 90 professional regional artists working in diverse media, in addition to an exhibition gallery that will host a mixed media group show this summer called “In the Moonlight.” Now in its 22nd year, the “Over the Back Fence” variety show happens the 2nd Friday of each month at the St. Mane Theatre and features regional musicians, local talent, and comedy skits that engage the whole community.
A two-hour drive south of the Twin Cities, experience Lanesboro and its historic downtown, the Poetry Parking Lot at Bass Pond, and much more by embarking the Discover Sculpture Explore Lanesboro Medallion Tour. lanesboroarts.org
