Since the Southdale Celebration of Care event began in 2018, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to support important projects at the hospital. These projects include improvements to The Birthplace, Southdale Hospital’s renowned pregnancy and birth wing, and the creation of the state-of-the-art EmPATH unit which offers patients a comforting space while care teams work to address their mental health needs.
M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital opened in Edina in 1965 and today is known for award-winning heart, stroke, and cancer care. Southdale Hospital offers convenient access to more than 40 specialty services including cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, obstetrics, primary care, neurosciences, critical care, vascular, and emergency services.
