Assuming the role of President and CEO of Midwest Radiology at the beginning of 2022, Dr. Susan Bagnoli Truman has a distinguished record as a calming presence in a highly complex, often stressful environment. With an ideal temperament to serve as both a valued sounding board for her partners and a visible example of professionalism and mentorship, she is respected for her intelligence—as evidenced by her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, her M.D. from Yale University, and her additional residency training at Yale University.

Previously, Dr. Truman served as Chief of Medical Staff at Regions Hospital, working alongside representatives from each specialty in the hospital—an experience that directly correlates to fostering teamwork among the various radiology subspecialties at Midwest Radiology. Her ability to communicate effectively with the varied members of Midwest Radiology, create functioning teams, and develop well thought-out goals for the practice come from her years of experience in leadership roles.

Earning the esteem of her colleagues by her years of leadership, Dr. Truman is an individual people trust to represent Midwest Radiology. During her time as President and CEO of Midwest Radiology, the practice is focused on achieving a forward-thinking platform for continued excellence augmented by strategic growth. As a leader, Dr. Truman is working to help the practice better serve people in the Midwest and expand regionally through relationships with like-minded hospitals and clinics. Her success as an administrator is a testament to the highly organized and professional manner with which she works, guiding processes with the necessary consideration to reach outcomes that are both fair and long-lasting.
