With excitement building and preparations in full swing, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival announces the countdown to its highly anticipated 53rd season. Set to begin Aug. 17 and run through Sept. 29, including Labor Day and Festival Friday, Sept. 27. Located in Shakopee, Minnesota, the Festival has been a truly unique experience for families and individuals from throughout the United States, welcoming all who enter the Kingdom for over half a century.

Travel back in time to King Henry’s 16th Century European Village at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Over 250 artisans fill the marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted goods, using techniques of only the finest craft that create a truly unique shopping experience.
Witness 16 entertainment stages filled with comedians, magicians, musicians, and more. Guests can spot mythical creatures and performers walking the village streets or find mystical creatures in their environment such as the mermaids of Mermaid Cove or Fairies of Fairy Wing Forest. To celebrate the 53rd season, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival will be hosting special Theme Weekend events, daring contests, and performances throughout the duration of the festival. Highlights include eating competitions, live armored combat battles, dance performances, and a mural competition. Guests can look forward to exciting new attractions, delectable faire foods, and enchanting performances along with returning favorites, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
