- Mountain Biking: Mountain biking at Giants Ridge is designed for riders of all abilities. Whether you’re looking for a scenic cruise through the woods or an adrenaline-pumping descent down the mountain, you’ll find it here. The bike park features 10 miles of cross-country trails and 10 purpose built gravity trails that are accessed from our high speed chairlift. Mountain bikes are trail bikes are available to rent. Our experienced rental staff will get you outfitted for your adventure.
- Disc Golf: The 18-hole course is set amongst the rock formations of the Laurentian Divide and features a variety of holes that challenge your skills and test your strategy.
- Golf at Two Award Winning Golf Courses: The Quarry was built on the site of an old sand/gravel and iron ore mining operation and is now rated the No. 1 public golf course in Minnesota, according to Golf Digest. The Legend offers a more traditional northwoods golfing experience. Both courses include easy access to restaurants.
- Scenic Chairlift Rides/Hiking: A high speed chairlift transports you to the top of the mountain. You will enjoy a variety of hiking trails, interpretive trails, and majestic views of Wynne and Sabin Lakes, the surrounding Superior National Forest and beyond.
- Climbing Wall: The 32-foot climbing wall has six distinct routes that are fun for both kids to adults to climb.

- Skiing/Snowboarding: Giants Ridge features 35 Alpine runs with over 165 acres of skiable terrain, 5 chairlifts, 2 conveyor lifts, and 2 terrain parks. Giants Ridge also has 63 kilometers of world-class Nordic ski trails with 5 kilometers lit for nighttime skiing.
- Fat Tire Biking: Giants Ridge was one of the first ski areas in Minnesota to offer lift served fat tire biking to winter sports adventure seekers. Fat tire bikers have the option to ride on over 60 kilometers of our Nordic trail system or some of our flowy downhill gravity bike trails.
- Snowshoeing: There are three beautiful winding trails through the splendid, peaceful scenery of the Northland. Trails vary in ability and length.
- Winter Music Series/Dining: Enjoy local music weekly during the winter season in the Burnt Onion Kitchen & Brews. This cozy restaurant serves up a delicious, casual affair. It is open during the summer and winter seasons and features a fantastic rotating tap beer line.
