OUR MISSION
To eliminate poverty housing from the Twin Cities and to make decent, affordable shelter for all people a matter of conscience.
KEY SERVICES PROVIDED
• More than 1,100 families have partnered with us to achieve their dreams of affordable homeownership. Families complete extensive home- owner trainings and receive an affordable Habitat mortgage, and we collaborate with volunteers, donors, and community partners to build homes.
• We stabilize low-income homeowners and strengthen neighborhoods through “A Brush With Kindness,” our paint and repair program. We’ve completed more than 1,800 projects.
• Open to the public, Twin Cities Habitat’s ReStores are home improvement outlets that sell quality furnishings, appliances, and building supplies at low costs to support our mission. Locations in Minneapolis and New Brighton. Visit restore.tchabitat.org.
• Our innovative strategic plan partners with community banks to more than double homeownership opportunities for families, meaning your gift will multiply the impact. Visit tchabitat.org/impact2020.
